Emmanuel Macron is in Brussels this Thursday, where he is due to meet with the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The head of state is in fact opposed to this free trade agreement which links the European Union, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay.
Opposed to this text, the head ofState is still not sure of winning his case. Germany is in favor of the text. Berlin is counting on this freetrade treaty to increase its trade with South America.
