Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River. Pengze crucian carp is named after the county and has a national geographical indication.
The total output this year is expected to be 15,000 tons, an increase of about 30% compared to last year. Due to its low environmental requirements, breeding has been promoted in more than 30 provinces and cities across the country. The county is actively promoting the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas.
