Boao Forum for Asia 2024 Annual Conference holds South China Sea themed sub-forum. More than 200 people from 15 countries and regions including China, the United States, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines attended the meeting.
China's special envoy for climate change and former deputy secretary-general of the United Nations said ASEAN countries and China should attach great importance to the risks of the South China sea issue. China willing to work with regional countries to promote concept of a community with a shared future to take root and bear fruit.
