The European Union has agreed on the 13th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The new restrictions affect 194 individuals and legal entities and are aimed mainly at the country's defense sector.

At the same time, the United States decided to impose over 500 additional restrictions on Moscow. However, according to experts, the new Western sanctions are not surprising and are unlikely to become critical for the Russian economy. “All these restrictions are mostly vegetarian in nature. They may be painful for individual individuals and companies related to the defense industry, but for the economy as a whole, the restrictions cannot be called critical,” said Georgiy Ostapkovich.
