Almost half of Russians consider keeping money on bank deposits as a reliable way to save money. Only every fourth resident of the country holds the opposite point of view.

The increase in the key rate of the Central Bank made deposits more profitable, and the stable financial position of banks under the conditions of sanctions had a positive impact on the sentiments of citizens. As President Vladimir Putin previously noted, the industry withstood the pressure of unprecedented external restrictions, which came as a surprise to the initiators of the restrictions.
