State Duma in the second and third readings approved the law on self-ban on loans for citizens. The document will come into force on March 1, 2025 and will allow Russians to independently set and remove restrictions on obtaining loans.
It is assumed that in this way people will be able to protect themselves from the actions of attackers. The ban will not apply only to mortgages, car loans and educational loans under state support. The conditions of the restrictions may vary: by type of lender and by the method of obtaining a loan (in the office or remotely)
