Survey found that approximately 60% of Japanese companies perceive rising tensions over Taiwan as a risk. Survey was conducted by KPMG Consulting, a major consulting firm, targeting listed companies.

More than half of the companies answered that they lacked the know-how and human resources to identify risks and consider countermeasures. While it has been pointed out that there is an increasing risk of disrupting the supply chain for raw materials, approximately 40% of companies answered they do not have a sufficient understanding of their supply chain.
