It covers an area of 21,700 square meters and a building area of 167,660 square meters. It provides more than 270 wards of various types with a total of 468 beds of different types. "I went to the hospital when I was young and saw white everywhere and smelled the smell of disinfectant water, and I felt very scared every time." Not only did it adopt a district cooling system for the first time, which greatly reduced energy consumption; it also achieved a greening rate of 40% through green roofs and vertical green walls. , More than 50% of the roof area is covered by high-reflectivity materials, which effectively weakens the heat island effect and improves air quality.
"We also make full use of the seawater adjacent to the hospital, using Hong Kong's unique seawater flushing system and dual-source flushing system."
