“Now the maximum rates on ruble deposits and savings accounts will reach 21% per annum, on deposits in dollars - 8%, in euros - 7%,” the press release says.
The corresponding changes will come into force on March 2.
It is noted that a rate of 21% on a deposit in rubles will be available when placing funds for six months without withdrawal and replenishment.
Earlier, Sberbank raised the maximum rate on ruble deposits to 21%.
The maximum rate on a foreign currency deposit in a credit institution will be 6% with a deposit amount of $100,000 or more.
