The statement was signed during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United States.
As noted, the energy departments of the two countries intend to "work on decarbonization of the Ukrainian economy, ensuring its energy security and export potential."
It is emphasized that for this the parties "will develop and implement a comprehensive plan in the energy sector."
The plan envisages "mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of nuclear energy, solar and wind energy, the use of hydrogen, energy storage."
Earlier, Zelensky on his Twitter announced a new stage in cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the defense sphere.
