China News Service, Shanghai, February 26th (Xu Wenfeng and Zhou Zhuoao) The reporter learned from China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. on the 26th that as of February 25th, the 40-day railway Spring Festival ended successfully, and the Yangtze River Delta Railway sent passengers nearly 50 million passengers, with an average of nearly 1.25 million passengers per day, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.

This year's Spring Festival passenger flow has been significantly affected by the epidemic.

Due to the occurrence of local cases in key areas such as Shanghai and Zhejiang before the Spring Festival, medium- and long-distance travelers have a strong wait-and-see mood. After January 21, the management gradually turned into a low-risk area, and the mid- and short-distance passenger flows in the surrounding provinces and Anhui and northern Jiangsu were simultaneously activated. It will be fully superimposed 5 days before the holiday from January 26th to 30th.

Affected by the epidemic situation in Suzhou, Wuxi and other places after the holiday, the passenger flow is generally at a low level, except that the rigid return-to-work and back-to-school passenger flow is concentrated at the end of the Spring Festival holiday and the weekend after the Lantern Festival.

During the Spring Festival travel period, the Yangtze River Delta Railway fully considered the changes in the epidemic situation and the possible impact of rain, snow and freezing disasters, and accurately implemented the "one map per day" transport capacity configuration. 2,698 passenger trains were added, and 7,182 EMU trains were reconnected to ensure the necessary travel needs of passengers.

In terms of epidemic prevention and control, the Yangtze River Delta Railway uses intelligent technology to serve the Spring Festival epidemic prevention and control. Intelligent epidemic prevention temperature measurement robots, air environment automatic disinfection robots, and ground cleaning and disinfection robots form an epidemic prevention "sky group" and work together at multiple stations.

During the Spring Festival travel period, a total of about 100 million inbound and outbound passengers were tested for temperature, and 950,000 of them were checked for nucleic acid test certificates for passengers entering Beijing.

Affected by the epidemic, the Yangtze River Delta Railway stopped the dine-in service of the dining car and replaced it with food delivery to the seats of the carriage. In order for passengers to eat a "bowl of good rice" during their travels, the "High-speed Rail on the Tongue" campaign continued to advance.

15 stations including Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing South, Hefei South, and Hangzhou East have successively joined the railway 12306 network feeding matrix. There are 4 railway self-operated theme restaurants and 46 local food brands to provide various types of food and beverages, which are available every day. There are more than 100 types of hot-chain packages purchased, including 29 types of drinks and 39 types of snacks.

On some trains, freshly ground coffee drinks are also being introduced on a pilot basis.

In addition, during the Spring Festival travel period, 205 passenger stations on the Yangtze River Delta Railway have adopted the "integration of inspection and inspection" organization mode. Smoother and more efficient travel, in 50 stations with an average daily passenger volume of more than 10,000 people, security check self-service express cabinets are also comprehensively promoted. Passengers who bring contraband by mistake can send the contraband to their destination through the security check self-service express cabinet.
