The Noor Abu Dhabi plant records an efficiency rate of 93% in terms of energy savings

The Noor Abu Dhabi plant covers an area of ​​eight kilometers and includes 3.2 million solar panels. The solar power plant is located in the Sweihan area in Abu Dhabi. It is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), the Japanese consortium of Marubeni companies and the Chinese Ginko Solar Holding.

Since the start of its commercial operations, the plant's net production of solar energy has reached 2,000 gigawatt hours, equivalent to providing electricity to about 66,000 homes, and the efficiency rate in terms of energy availability has reached 93%.

The station also recorded (404,835) working hours without lost time injuries until the end of last April, which confirms the company's commitment to applying the highest internationally approved health and safety standards.
