At about 14:00 on September 26, along with the sound of the train whistle, the 38006 freight train carrying 26 cars and 1430 tons of stone slowly drove out of the Macheng Station of the Macheng Depot of China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and was transported by rail for 5 days. After arriving in Rizhao, Shandong, it will be transferred by sea to Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries. This is the first rail-sea combined transport train from Macheng, Hubei to Rizhao, Shandong.

  Chen Liang, head of freight at Macheng Station of Macheng Depot of China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd., said: "This freight train runs after Macheng-Ningbo Zhoushan Port Railway-Sea Intermodal Train opened in August, and another Macheng stone was opened. The international logistics channel, from the customer's request to the train departure, we can complete all the procedures within 2 days, which greatly facilitates Macheng Stone to take the rail-sea intermodal train to the world."

  According to statistics, as of September 25, Macheng Station has successfully dispatched 27,455 trucks and 1.53 million tons of stone goods since the beginning of this year, an increase of 32% and 36% respectively over the same period last year, driving the Macheng stone industry to a new acceleration.
