The father of the “Salmiya girl” in Kuwait: The mother was hard-hearted for her children
The Public Prosecution in Kuwait continues to investigate the crime that shook Kuwaiti society during the past two days, when a Kuwaiti citizen reported to the Salmiya police station that his mother kept the body of his deceased sister 5 years ago inside the apartment bathroom, and the body turned into a skeleton.
Al-Qabas newspaper revealed that the Public Prosecution decided to continue the detention of the mother and release the second son after the release of the first. It also listened to the father's statements in the case.
According to the newspaper, the father told the prosecution in his statements that he had separated from the mother 4 years ago.
He confirmed during the investigations that the hardness of the mother's heart, especially on her children, was the main reason behind his separation.
During his statements before the prosecution, the father confirmed that the mother was constantly beating her children, under the pretext that she is their mother and raises them.
The mother had admitted during the investigations that she imprisoned the girl's freedom, and did not intend to cause her death, but rather meant to raise her and prevent her from repeatedly leaving the house, but when she discovered her death one day, she hid the news for fear of revealing her case and accusing her of being the cause of this.
It is expected, according to the sources, that the investigations will be completed soon and referred to the Criminal Court.
