The death of the owner of “The Scream,” scriptwriter Karam Al-Najjar

The Egyptian scriptwriter Karam Al-Najjar passed away today, after a struggle with illness, leaving behind an artistic legacy that exceeds 40 works, including the movie The Grandchildren's Struggle, The Scream, the Friends series, and The Shams Family.

The artist, Mounir Makram, a member of the Syndicate of Representative Professions, said that the death of Karam Al-Najjar is sad for the artistic community, but he will perpetuate his works.

And the late graduate of the Faculty of Law from the University of Alexandria, and his beginning was through the series (The Man and the Mountain) in 1969, after which he presented dozens of works between cinema and television, and his most prominent works are the movie The Scream with the artist Nour El-Sharif in 1991, and the series Dancing on Escalators, Friends, and Baba Light.

The late contributed his writings to a number of works, such as the series “There is no god but God.”
