This year's No. 3 typhoon "Senrak" swept across the sea in the southern part of Sanya at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and its center moved into the sea of Beibu Gulf at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Affected by the typhoon, there were showers from time to time in Sanya City, and the waves on the beach were severe.

At 6 o'clock in the afternoon on August 1, a small steel fishing boat overturned in the waters near Phoenix Island. The husband and wife fell into the water while the husband was lying on the overturned boat waiting for rescue. After receiving the alarm, the Sanya City Fire Rescue Detachment rushed to the scene and rescued the man trapped in the capsized ship ashore.
According to the rescued man, he and his wife sailed out to sea unexpectedly and capsized, and his wife was hard to find after falling into the water. Fire rescue personnel immediately carried out search and rescue work on the missing.
