The "Lupin" team attacked with fireworks mortar fire

The gentleman burglar has been robbed.

About twenty hooded people attacked, on Friday in Nanterre, the filming of the second season of

, in the presence of actor Omar Sy, to steal equipment, AFP learned from a police source.

The team was attacked with mortar fireworks around 3 p.m. during filming in the Pablo-Picasso district of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), said the same source.

No injuries are to be deplored but nearly 300,000 euros of equipment was stolen.

A resumption of filming “soon”

Contacted by AFP, Netflix confirmed "the incident" and "assured that the safety of the teams is a priority".

The company added "hope to be able to resume filming soon".

After conquering tens of millions of Netflix subscribers around the world, Omar Sy put on his gentleman burglar sneakers again for the long-awaited second part of
