On Thursday, the Dutch techno festival "The Crave" announced that the Russian DJ and producer Nina Kraviz has been canceled from this summer's event.

"We want to inform you that after long and intense discussions both internally and externally, we have decided that Nina Kraviz will not play at 'The Crave Festival 2022'," the festival writes in an Instagram post.

The German festival Pollerwiesen also gave a similar message the same day.

“We want to inform you that Nina Kraviz will not be performing at the festival.

We have made the decision after an open dialogue with all parties involved ", the organizer writes on Instagram.

The techno star has responded to them on social media since the accusations were discovered.

On Wednesday, she shared a post where she wrote:

“As a person, musician and artist, I am deeply touched by what is happening in the world.

It is frightening how my country's relations with Ukraine have become.

I am against all forms of violence.

I pray for peace.

It hurts me to see innocent people suffer. ”
