In Saitama Prefecture, it was announced on the 1st that 899 new people were infected with the new coronavirus, and the number exceeded 800 for 5 consecutive days.

The breakdown is 490 in Saitama Prefecture, 212 in Saitama City, 88 in Kawaguchi City, 56 in Kawagoe City, and 53 in Koshigaya City.

With this, a total of 57,839 people have been announced as infected in the prefecture.
