As explained in the development team, the system is based on collecting data on accidents in a specific area and comparing them with weather conditions.

With the help of research, it has been established that accidents occur, as a rule, with a greater frequency in autumn.

“The forecasting algorithm itself takes as a basis data on archived accidents and weather from open sources, and then passes the combined table through the model,” said Vladislav Gorbunov, leader of the development team.

The team plans to automate the system and introduce it to the Russian market.

“With the available information about possible accidents, drivers will be able to build a route through other areas,” the specialist added.

Earlier, the press service of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR) told RT about five significant domestic inventions since the beginning of 2022.
