Ras Al Khaimah Airport and Gulf Air sign an agreement to start the airline's operations to the emirate

Gulf Air and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport have signed an agreement under which the airline will start implementing its flights scheduling to Ras Al Khaimah on October 03, with two weekly flights to the emirate, with the possibility of these operations continuing throughout the year between Manama and Ras Al Khaimah airports to link the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah with Bahrain and other regional and international destinations on the network. The agreement was signed at Gulf Air's main headquarters in Muharraq, Bahrain, in the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, and His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Air, and Captain Waleed Al Alawi, Acting President Gulf Air CEO Mr. Atanasios Tetonis, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Mr. Raki Phillip, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, and a number of members of the executive management of the two companies.


Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi said that this agreement expands the horizon of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport by offering many options for destinations from east to west, adding that this agreement strengthens the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.


For his part, His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani said during the signing ceremony, "Being the leading boutique airline with a prominent international presence in the region, we are pleased to add Ras Al Khaimah to our list of marine destinations, and to raise the number of our destinations in the United Arab Emirates to three destinations that include in addition to Ras Al Khaimah. Abu Dhabi and Dubai.. Today we signed the start of our services and operations to Ras Al Khaimah.”


In turn, Captain Waleed Al Alawi said: We are pleased to add a third destination to our growing network of destinations in the UAE;
