“On December 17, the procedure for filling the second string of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline began.
Similar to the procedure carried out on the first line, the second line will be gradually filled with gas in order to achieve the required level of volume and pressure, ”the company's website says.
It is noted that earlier on the second line, commissioning works were successfully completed to control the integrity of the gas pipeline.
The procedure for filling the first string of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline with gas was completed on 18 October.
