Sheng Guoqing, chief statistician of the City Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, explained that the increase in the sales price of commercial housing in 70 large and medium-sized cities monitored by statistics has basically remained stable.

The sales price of newly built commercial housing in first-tier cities rose slightly, while the increase in second-hand housing fell

  According to estimates, in May, the sales price of newly built commercial residential buildings in four first-tier cities rose by 0.7% month-on-month, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month; a year-on-year increase of 6.0%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month.

The sales price of second-hand housing in first-tier cities rose by 0.6% month-on-month, and the increase was 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month.

Among them, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou rose by 1.1%, 0.7% and 0.9% respectively from the previous month, and the growth rate dropped by 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 percentage points respectively from the previous month; Shenzhen changed from flat last month to a decrease of 0.1%.

The sales price of second-hand housing in first-tier cities increased by 10.8% year-on-year, and the increase was 0.5 percentage points lower than the previous month.

The month-on-month increase in the sales price of commercial housing in second and third-tier cities fell or was the same as last month, and the year-on-year increase was basically stable

  According to estimates, in May, the sales prices of newly constructed commercial residential buildings in 31 second-tier cities and 35 third-tier cities increased by 0.6% and 0.4% respectively, the same as the previous month; the sales prices of second-hand residential buildings increased by 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively. An average drop of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month.

The sales prices of new commercial housing and second-hand housing in second-tier cities rose by 5.0% and 3.5% year-on-year, respectively, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month's average.

The sales price of newly built commercial housing in third-tier cities rose by 3.8% year-on-year, 0.1 percentage point lower than the previous month; the sales price of second-hand housing rose 2.6% year-on-year, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month.
