Mr. Koichiro Onishi, who was an examiner at the Financial Institutions Bureau of the head office, was appointed as the new director of the Bank of Japan's Morioka office on the 17th.

Mr. Onishi is 54 years old from Tokyo.



After joining the Bank of Japan in 1990, he worked as a planner for the Policy Committee Office of the head office and the Financial Institutions Bureau, and has been an examiner for the Financial Institutions Bureau since May 2014.
