“The national plan involves three phases ... The task of the first stage is to stabilize the situation by the end of the third quarter of this year. The main thing that needs to be achieved during this period is to prevent a further drop in people's incomes, ”Mishustin said at a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

In the second stage, which will last until the second quarter of 2021, everything necessary will be done to complete the process of economic recovery, reduce unemployment, and ensure the growth of citizens' incomes to a level that will be comparable to the level of last year.

“At the third, final stage (this is the third or fourth quarter of 2021), we expect to enter the path of sustainable long-term economic growth,” Mishustin said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin during a working meeting via video link with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the implementation of the economic recovery plan should begin in July.
