The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security held a regular press conference for the second quarter on the 22nd.

At the meeting, Zhang Ying introduced the employment situation of college graduates this year.

Zhang Ying pointed out that now is the graduation season. From all aspects, the current employment situation of college graduates remains generally stable.

At the same time, there are indeed some graduates who have not yet implemented their jobs, and the pressure on youth employment has increased.

In response, the human resources and social security departments at or above the provincial level have issued an open letter to the society, announcing policies and measures to support graduates' employment and entrepreneurship, as well as the contact methods of local public employment and talent service agencies.

In the next step, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will work with relevant departments to continue to put the promotion of employment of college graduates in a prominent position, launch special assistance actions, and continue to provide graduates with jobs and services.

What measures will be taken next to help college graduates find employment?

In this regard, Zhang Ying mentioned five measures:

  One is follow-up service.

By strengthening information connection with education departments, unblocking unemployment registration, and conducting grassroots visits, unemployed graduates are included in the service system in a timely manner, and free basic public employment services such as job introductions and career guidance are provided as needed.

Among them, employment assistance is given priority to graduates from zero-employment families and disabled graduates.

Graduates of all types who have job search needs can go through the job search mini-programs announced by the human resources and social security departments, or register at local public employment and talent service agencies to seek employment service support.

The second is to broaden the channels.

Implement the graduate employment policy "packaged", accelerate the implementation of social security subsidies, training subsidies and other policies, encourage small, medium and micro enterprises to absorb more graduate employment, and expand market-oriented employment channels.

Speed up the progress of recruitment and recruitment, promote the continuous expansion of recruitment scale of state-owned enterprises, and stabilize the recruitment scale of public institutions and grassroots service projects.

  The third is encryption recruitment.

In the first half of the year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has successively launched special activities such as joint recruitment in large and medium-sized cities for graduates, and online recruitment for hundreds of millions of people every day, and has released nearly 10 million job information.

In the second half of the year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will rely on mainstream public recruitment information platforms such as China Public Recruitment Network, Graduate Employment Service Platform, and Employment Online to provide online recruitment services on a regular basis.

At the same time, we will continue to hold special activities such as joint recruitment in large and medium cities and golden autumn recruitment, and regularly hold offline recruitment in cities above the prefecture level.

The fourth is to support entrepreneurship.

Carry out targeted entrepreneurship training for graduates who are willing to start a business, provide entrepreneurial services such as project development, opening guidance, resource docking, and follow-up support, give priority to the arrangement of entrepreneurial venues, and provide policy support such as entrepreneurial secured loans.

At the same time, implement the social insurance subsidy policy to support the flexible employment of willing graduates.

The fifth is to improve capacity.

Continue to implement the employment internship program to provide management, technical, and scientific research internship opportunities for graduates who wish to increase their work experience to enhance their employment competitiveness.

Continue to promote the vocational training plan, provide apprenticeship training, job training, new vocational training, skills training and other vocational training for graduates who want to improve their skills, and support them to achieve employment through their skills.

"In short, the human resources and social security department will do everything possible to create conditions to support graduates to display their talents in all walks of life, so that youth can shine in the places where the motherland needs it most." Zhang Ying said.
