A 40-year-old man has filed a lawsuit against his parents at a Michigan state court, according to media reports. The reason: They should have thrown away his collected porn and sex toys, which should be worth $ 29,000. The news agency AP and the broadcaster Fox report.

According to court documents, after his divorce in 2016, the man moved to his parents in Michigan in the city of Grand Haven. He lived there for ten months and then moved.

In November 2017 his should have come to bring him his things. What was missing according to the reports: his porn collection. According to an email, Fox says his parents have admitted throwing away twelve boxes of movies and magazines and two boxes of sex toys.

Done a "favor"

"It took us quite a long time," it says in an e-mail from the parents. The collection was destroyed because of concern for the son's emotional and mental health. "I have done you a favor," the father should have written.

The 40-year-old reportedly first turned to the police, but the prosecutor had rejected a lawsuit. Later, the man opted for a civil suit.

He claims that the collection contains decades-old, valuable films. They were partly produced by studios that no longer existed. According to the reports, he sues his parents for around $ 87,000 in damages, which is three times the value of the collection.
