Developed according to the “right sizing” concept, which optimizes displacement to improve energy efficiency and power, the all-new 3.3-litre e-Skyactiv D six-cylinder diesel engine will be available in two power levels: 200 hp in rear-wheel drive and 254 hp with Mazda i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive.
The latter boasts impressive performance: it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 219 km/h, for an average WLTP fuel consumption of just 5.3 l/100 km (137 g /km of CO2).
A 3.0-litre e-Skyactiv petrol engine, also a 6-cylinder in-line, will later join the e-Skyactiv D and e-Skyactiv PHEV engines to complete the range of engines for the Mazda CX-60, which will be in dealerships in January 2023. Sales will begin September 1.
