Kuwait: Polling stations closed in National Assembly elections in preparation for vote counting
The polling stations in Kuwait closed their doors after voters cast their votes in the parliamentary elections today, Thursday, in light of a heavy turnout in the early hours of the morning, but attendance decreased in the evening period.
The counting of electoral votes begins after the last citizen of the polls finishes voting, followed by the announcement of the official results and the announcement of the winners of the council's membership for the next four years.
The voting process continued for 12 consecutive hours, starting at eight in the morning, in five electoral districts according to the one-vote system to choose 50 members of the National Assembly from among 305 male and female candidates.
