Iwate Prefecture has announced that it has been confirmed that three new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The infection was confirmed in a male employee in his 70s living in Morioka City, a self-employed male in his 60s, and a male employee in his 30s living in Miyako City.
Infection was confirmed in 89 people in Iwate prefecture.
