  In December 2021, the sales prices of commercial residential buildings in 70 large and medium-sized cities continued the downward trend since the fourth quarter on a month-on-month basis, and the year-on-year increase fell.

  The sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in first-tier cities dropped one by one month-on-month, while those in second- and third-tier cities declined

  According to estimates, in December, the sales price of new commercial residential buildings in first-tier cities dropped by 0.1% month-on-month from the previous month's flat.

Among them, Beijing was unchanged month-on-month, Shanghai rose 0.4%, Guangzhou and Shenzhen fell 0.6% and 0.1% respectively.

The sales price of second-hand housing in first-tier cities changed from a decrease of 0.2% in the previous month to an increase of 0.1%.

Among them, Beijing and Shanghai increased by 0.8% and 0.4% respectively, while Guangzhou and Shenzhen decreased by 0.3% and 0.4% respectively.

The sales prices of new commercial residential buildings and second-hand residential buildings in second-tier cities both fell by 0.3% month-on-month, and the rate of decline narrowed by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.

The sales price of new commercial residential buildings in third-tier cities decreased by 0.3% month-on-month, the same rate of decline as the previous month; the sales price of second-hand residential buildings decreased by 0.5% month-on-month, with a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.

  According to estimates, in December, the sales prices of newly built commercial housing and second-hand housing in first-tier cities rose by 4.4% and 5.3% year-on-year, respectively, a drop of 0.4 and 0.5 percentage points from the previous month.

The sales prices of new commercial housing and second-hand housing in second-tier cities rose by 2.8% and 1.5% year-on-year respectively, and the growth rate was both 0.5 percentage points lower than the previous month.

Newly built commercial housing in third-tier cities rose by 0.9% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.5 percentage points from the previous month; the sales price of second-hand housing turned flat from a year-on-year increase of 0.5% in the previous month.
