[Explanation] The reporter learned that in 2021, Huaqiao University admitted a total of 8,763 undergraduate freshmen, of which 3358 were overseas students, accounting for 38.3%, coming from more than 50 countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
