It gave me the greatest feeling for the first time. When I came to the mainland, I thought that this day is so big, and when this place has such a large space, first of all your considerations are different, so I think (try) It's very important to walk into a new place.
[Commentary] Huang Jing, a designer from Hong Kong, came to Shenzhen to develop and work hard because of his love for life and dreams.
In an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency, Huang Jing, who has been deeply involved in the mainland for many years and has made achievements, said that on the day of Hong Kong's return, he and his girlfriend watched the countdown seconds before the countdown board in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
Since then, he has secretly made up his mind that he must develop in the mainland.
Therefore, Huang Jing took the first step to realize his dream when he obtained a first-class honorary Bachelor of Design and a Master of Design Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Because I was born in 1978, everyone knows that this is a very important year, and then I graduated from college in 1997.
So as soon as I graduated, I felt that I had to come to the mainland to develop. I felt that we Chinese people had such a good space, and we had to develop here. I really never thought about anything else.
[Explanation] Because of this decision, Huang Jing came to Dongguan in 2001 and chose a Hong Kong-funded company with foreign designers to work, so that he could not only be exposed to foreign design concepts, but also have the opportunity to go deep into the front line of industrial manufacturing.
After early accumulation, Huang Jing started his entrepreneurial journey in 2012.
As the CTO and partner of DRD Design and Research Institute, Huang Jing uses Hong Kong design to link manufacturing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, help mainland enterprises enter the international market, and is committed to building a high-quality design brand in China.

While developing in recent years, the (market) requirements for design are getting higher and higher.
For us, we may have been in contact with some foreign designs and foreign markets in the past. (The Greater Bay Area) has a very good vision for the future of our entrepreneurial enterprises.
Why?
Because the first thing they want is the most cutting-edge, and the second advantage of our Hong Kong people has always been an international view. We understand some international design advantages and then convert them into some design sectors that we need in the mainland. This advantage We can also generate some very multi-dimensional collaborations.
[Explanation] Huang Jing believes that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has a diverse market and growing consumption power, bringing opportunities to Hong Kong brands, enterprises and start-ups.
He firmly believes that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will bring greater development space to Hong Kong youth.

Because I am also the vice chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Association, we have been promoting in Hong Kong, this is how we integrate the youth into our overall environment of the Greater Bay Area, through our association and Some of the platforms we are doing now are related to originality. After connecting them (Hong Kong youth) with our mainland, they will feel it for themselves. I think what it is in the end.
(Hong Kong) young people have to come in (the Greater Bay Area) and feel it. How do you choose? This is your own right.
But I believe that when they come in (the Greater Bay Area), they will find that the world is so big.
