  In the first four months, passenger traffic dropped by 64.4% year-on-year, capacity dropped by 49.9%, and revenue passenger kilometers fell by 59.1%.

  Lin Shaobo, Cathay Pacific ’s customer and business president, said the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic on the business is still serious. As of April this year, the group's two full-service airlines (Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon) have recorded unaudited losses of HK $ 4.5 billion; and the company's financial prospects will remain very bleak for at least the next few months.
