In Sète, in the footsteps of Georges Brassens

Audio 19:30

Today, the birthplace of Brassens has not moved.

It is also always occupied by a member of his family.

Only the name of the street has changed: the old rue de l'Hospice was named after the singer.

Georges Brassens would have been 100 years old, in this month of October 2021. A century later, the songs he wrote have been around the world and are hummed by several generations.

It is in Sète (Hérault), his birthplace, that these commemorations resonate the loudest.

Many events accompany this anniversary and allow to discover or rediscover the many facets of his work.
