Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 28th that it was confirmed that 953 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The breakdown is 350 in Fukuoka, 183 in Kitakyushu, and 34 in Kurume.
A total of 62,798 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
On the other hand, it was found that 140 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
