European underground gas storage facilities are already more than 50% empty

It is noted that as of January 12, the occupancy of European UGSFs was 49.33%.

At the same time, a year earlier on the same day, the indicator was almost 65%, and in 2020 - 83%.

Earlier, Igor Yushkov, a leading analyst at the National Energy Security Fund, an expert at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, commented on the situation on the gas market in Europe in an interview with Economics Today.
