Toyota Motor Corp., the Japanese automaker, achieved record sales last June, thanks to strong demand for cars and the regular production of the Japanese company, despite the shortage of electronic chips that hit the auto industry worldwide.

And “Bloomberg” news agency indicated that “Toyota Motors” set a record for sales, last June, of 844,750 cars, an increase of 20% over the same month in 2020. The total production of “Toyota” during the last month reached 831,533 cars, an increase of 41% over the same month last year.

This comes at a time when the demand for cars in the world is increasing this year, after sales deteriorated in 2020, as a result of the emerging Corona virus pandemic.

In addition, the ongoing crisis of lack of electronic chips continues to limit the production of car companies in the world, and this has led to a deterioration in the stock of cars at the agents of international companies, while some companies struggle to meet the demand of dealers.

On the other hand, Toyota succeeded in increasing its production, during last June, compared to the same month in 2019 before the outbreak of the pandemic, by approximately 50,000 cars.
