A new luggage tag

The SNCF has therefore developed a new label for luggage: a label in the form of a QR code.

All you have to do is scan it with your phone and enter your contact details.

This will then allow SNCF agents, in a few seconds, to contact you if you forget your suitcase.

“We save a lot of time”

"If everyone puts a tag on a piece of luggage, that makes it possible to call the person and in an extremely large proportion of cases, to allow the person to say: 'Yes, indeed, this is my luggage', then to come back. on the spot and to take it back. Or even if the person has gone a bit far, to be able to certify that it is indeed his luggage. And therefore we do not consider it as a suspicious package and therefore we do not involve the deminers. And so we save a lot of time", explains Alain Krakovitch, director of TGV Intercités.
