Brexit conditions still unresolved, the clock is ticking

Brussels-London, London-Brussels: by dint of making the round trip between the two capitals for years, Michel Barnier surely knows by heart every single rail of the Eurostar route.

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator will have another opportunity to test his knowledge this Friday, as he travels to the British capital to discuss a draft trade deal with the UK for yet another time .

Time is running out, since on the evening of December 31, the transition period will end and the absence of an agreement could cause a new economic shock, rather unwelcome in times of pandemic crisis.
