An employee of a parcel distribution platform located in Cournon-d'Auvergne (Puy-de-Dôme) was arrested at the end of October.

He is suspected of having diverted and resold dozens of Amazon orders,

Since 2018, many packages passed through this platform have never reached their destination.

A car and money seized

The 34-year-old suspect is said to have pocketed a total of 40,000 euros.

He was taken into custody by the gendarmes of the Veyre-Monton brigade community who had received information.

At the end of his police custody, the thirty-something was released.

He will be the subject of an appearance on prior admission of guilt next March.

As part of this procedure, justice seized a car worth 10,000 euros belonging to the employee in question, and 5,000 euros placed in his bank account.
