Several American media announced Thursday that American actor Ray Liotta, star of the mythical mafia film "Goodfellas", had died at the age of 67.
Among these media, the Deadline site also reported the death of the actor which occurred while he was filming in the Dominican Republic.

The star died in his sleep, specifies the TMZ site, citing a source close to Ray Liotta.
Deadline also reported the actor's death while filming in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to his role as a mobster in
Goodfellas
in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to American audiences for having played in the baseball film
Until the end of the dream
in 1989. He had first made himself known on screen in 1986 with
Dangerous in all respects
, which had earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
