Aichi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 250 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number increased 1.7 times from 146 on Thursday a week ago to over 200 for the second consecutive day.
A total of 53,578 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
