A Saudi date festival sells for $17 million in a week
Sales of the dates festival in the Saudi city of Buraidah exceeded 62 million riyals (about 17 million dollars) within seven days.

The number of palm trees is 33 million, which represents 27% of the total palm trees in the world. The number of agricultural holdings for date palms in the Kingdom is 123 thousand.
