It is expected that the income growth of residents will gradually improve

In the first quarter, affected by the sudden new pneumonia epidemic, residents' income and consumption were significantly impacted, with a decline that had not occurred in many years.

However, wage and income levels are basically stable. By source of income, in the first quarter, the national per capita wage income was 4,896 yuan, an increase of 1.2%, accounting for 57.2% of disposable income.

Fang Xiaodan, director of the Household Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics, pointed out that wage income remained basically stable, to a certain extent, hedging the negative impact of the decline in residents 'operating income, and played an important role in maintaining a small increase in residents' nominal income of 0.8%.

Mao Shengyong, a spokesman for the National Bureau of Statistics, said on April 17 that in the next stage, as the economy gradually recovers, the growth of residents' income will gradually improve. (Finish)
