Spokesman for Patriarch Kirill dismissed

This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Russian Orthodox Church.

"By order of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill Priest Alexander Volkov was relieved of his post as head of the patriarchal press service on September 11, 2019," the statement said.

Vladimir Legoyda previously held the post of head of the synodal department for relations between the church and society and the media of the Moscow Patriarchate.
