Patriarch Kirill interrupted the service in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior to perform a funeral litany for those innocently killed in Krasnogorsk. He said the incident resulted in the "crazy and brutal" deaths of innocent people.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held contacts with colleagues from the CIS countries, as well as from Hungary, Turkey, Jordan and Mali - all expressed condolences. According to him, the first reaction of the Church should be prayer, “then the official point of view will be expressed.”
