The Ryanair low cost company gets things complicated, in this case in the technical field. The company is reviewing dozens of its devices after problems have been found in some of them. Specifically, it has left several of them on the ground because fissures between the wing and the fuselage have been detected, caused by "pressures and aerodynamic forces," according to the British newspaper The Guardian.

The British company has told the AFP agency that it is inspecting 70 of the oldest devices in its fleet and has left at least three grounded for these problems. It is the oldest devices in its fleet. These are Boeing 737 NG aircraft. These are the ones that precede the 737 MAX aircraft.

The latter model is giving headaches to the airlines that had commissioned them. Boeing has suspended deliveries because the devices are under review after the accidents of Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines in less than five months.

"We speak clearly about our aircraft. Ryanair only uses the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This simplified fleet allows us to save costs and maintain a safety standard. For now, we have more than 300 aircraft in operation, and the average age of our aircraft is 5.5 years, "says the Irish company on its website.

Ryanair has orders for 183 Boeing 737-800 and awaits delivery of the 737 MAX. In 2024 they aspire to have more than 520 aircraft in operation to accommodate 160 million passengers per year. The delay in the delivery of the 737 MAX is causing problems, because it had these devices and, not having them, says it has had to relocate routes.

The problem with this model is the argument he used in his day when he announced the closure of the Spanish bases in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Girona. Its closure will affect around 500 workers.
