The Iranian tanker Grace 1 , renamed Adrian Darya 1 , was finally able to leave Gibraltar, after a month and a half of immobilization. And this despite Washington's request to seize it under unilateral US sanctions.

The Iranian super-oil tanker was finally able to leave the port of Gibraltar after 45 days of detention on Sunday night, as the rock authorities refused to comply with US demands .
A few hours later, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said that Iran had warned Washington against any attempt to seize the Iranian ship in international waters:
" The Islamic Republic of Iran through official channels, including the Swiss embassy, has given the necessary warnings to US officials. If they make such an error, it will have serious consequences, "he warned.
The British tanker still retained
The oil tanker is heading towards Greece, while the United States has imposed tough sanctions against Iran, including to reduce its oil exports to zero.
Britain had seized the Iranian oil tanker on July 4 at the request of Washington, saying the tanker wanted to go to Syria, which is under an oil embargo of the European Union. Which caused a serious crisis between Tehran and London.
Two weeks later, Iran seized a British tanker in the Persian Gulf region. According to the spokesman of the Iranian diplomacy, it will be necessary to wait for the decision of the Iranian justice for a possible liberation of the British tanker.
