“A criminal case has been instituted against the head of the preschool institution in the city of Krasnodar. She is suspected of negligence, which, through negligence, entailed the death of a child (part 2 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia), ”the ministry said in a statement.
According to investigators, on the morning of September 9, two two-year-old girls and a teacher were injured when a tree fell in a kindergarten in Krasnodar. One child died from injuries. The second girl and the teacher were hospitalized.
Earlier, the IC opened a criminal case under the article on causing death by negligence.
